Seems like you've stumbled upon my secret fun
page!

I've always loved cutesy things & am compelled to
share my cutesy obsession with everyone.
Everyone that finds my secret page that is! *muwahahahahaha
~ evil laugh*
These lovely little bouncies are called Kaoani,
which is a Japanese word - but truthfully, I have no
idea what it means. Here is a fabulous Kaoani
image of some bouncies drinking sake for the cherry
blossom viewing.
If you are interested in
seeing cherry blossoms yourself, please check out
the
National Cherry Blossom Site.
In 1912, the city of Tokyo gave the people of
Washington D.C. 3000 cherry trees and every year
D.C. has an extended festival around the blooming of
these beautiful flowers. They are quite a
sight
to see!

Since I've been studying Japanese for the last few
years, I've enjoyed learning about their culture.
Mostly I love their cutesy stuff. It's like a
whole country got together and said "let's have cute
stuff for adults" and they all agreed unanimously!
Wahoo!
They have anime shows for all ages (catch some
translated into English on Adult Swim on the Cartoon
Network) and they have fun beeps, chimes, and
warnings. I saw a tsunami warning on TV while
in Japan and it was the most pleasant sound, like a
wind chime - much better than the American warnings
that squawk like those ear bending "weekly emergency
tests" on the television. And they love
colorful things. Check out Akihabara if you
ever get to Tokyo, it's lit up like a fancy
Christmas tree! [Akihabara is a
section of Tokyo where they sell electronics]
Hmmmm.... let's see... what else is fun? Oh,
my super girly-girl fan crushes are fun!
These are my favorite fan crushes right now.
In case one of my crushes finds this
secret page, please note that once you become my fan
crush, you will always be my fan crush. I'm as
loyal as can be. *smiles*

This is Gackt, a Japanese rock star who has
also starred in films such as Moon Child which you
can pick up at your local Blockbuster. Mind
you, it's a flick about Vampires in Taiwan featuring
Japanese pop stars, so it's not the best movie out
there. But hottie Hyde from the band
L'Arc-en-Ciel stars in it too [see pic of him at
bottom of page.] Hyde is just tooooo short for me! (but I'd snuggle him given the
chance) Gackt is taller than me, so he can snuggle
me. *giggles*
Much
to every man's I've ever dated dismay, my ultimate
fan crush since I was 13 is on the band Nelson.
After you finish looking at my crushes, you'll see
that I like pretty boys. I'm almost positive
these blond bombshell twins catapulted me into
puberty. *drools a little*
Moving
along to my newest fan crush! The amazing ice
skating Olympian, Johnny Weir.
I
snatched this photo from a site, so I must give
copyright info about it; some guy named Mark Baker
took it. Truly, I only use it for personal
use. *slips copy under pillow* Not
only is he a dreamy athlete, but he's super bendy!
And to make me even happier, I get to see him skate
live in his upcoming tour with Champions on Ice.
I'm so glad I learned to ice skate a few years ago,
now I won't look like a total fool when I launch
myself onto center ice to chase him down. =D
Just kidding Johnny, you're safe from me... for now. *wink*
Update: I saw Johnny skate live and
found him even more delightful in person than on TV.

Next is my anime fan crush, Vash the Stampede.
What's an anime fan crush? It's a crush on a
cartoon. That's right. I like a cartoon.
Go ahead and judge me, you won't be the first.
(^-')
He's from the anime Trigun and I currently have him
as my keychain so I can keep him in my pocket all
day long.
If only he were a real boy. *pouts*

And not to leave cutie Hyde out, here is a
pic of him. He is the lead singer of
L'Arc-en-Ciel, a Japanese band. But he's
married and like... 5'1" or something super cute
like that. He may fit in my pocket too...

And my fan crush lists just keeps expanding! This
is Kimeru, another Japanese pop star.
He often looks like a female, but has the smoothest,
strongest voice that doesn't sound remotely feminine. *swoons* He's also full of energy and super kawaii (cute) but
short - 5'3". I'm just toooooo tall for my
Japanese fan crushes. *frowns*
No worries, I'm not going to let a little thing like
height or the Pacific Ocean stand in the way of my
fan crushing.

Yay Kime!
私のサイトは楽しいですね...
日本人の男はかわいいですよ

And now for my favorite junk food - the often
overlooked movie candy, SnoCaps. I try to
eat a box every week or two, though it's hard to
limit myself to such a small quantity. =(

Sweet happiness! I've been swept up in an
anime known as Prince of Tennis and found these
adorable plush dolls of some of the characters in
their pajamas! I tell ya, those Japanese
people know how to make me happy, with their
cartoons, gizmos, and shiny objects. I've purchased
two, the one with the toothbrush and the one lying
down with the blue pillow... but I reaaaaaaallly
want the one with the teddy bear... Fuji.
*pouts* But he's sold out everywhere.
*puts on manifesting cap*

[5.13.06]
I'll let you know how long it takes for me to
manifest him.
[5.19.06] Snap! I found him and ordered him!
Now while you all may think, "how hard is it to find
a silly doll?" These are only made for those
crane catching games you find in arcades - and only
in Japan! They are not sold as retail items.
*dances in glee*
Hopefully you've learned more about me than you ever
wanted to know. When I think of more fun stuff
- fun stuff for me - then I'll post it here,
on my Secret Fun Page! Wahoo!
This is my psychic, fortune telling bouncy:
I was so pleased when I found him! So thank
you, whoever made him. I've named him Fluffy.
:D
