First I want to start with my ex-boyfriend-o-rama weekend story, simply because it a perfect example of how this all works. That Saturday I was working on my computer like I usually do. I decided to do a search on my college boyfriend. Now, it has been six years since we broke up and about four since I've even seen him. Last I knew he was in the same city as me, but I did not really know. Up until now, I had not even thought of doing an internet search on him. So I tinkered around on the computer but came up with nothing. I was fine with that since I am really not connected to him anymore, not in the deep way we had been while we were together. But even though we are not "romantically" or "friend" connected, there will always be that "hey! I know you connection!"

To make my long story short, the next day I went grocery shopping. The plan was, get in-get out-get home, the usual "why did I pick Sunday to go to the grocery store?" syndrome. Just so you know, I live a block and a half from my grocery store, but I drove because it was about 20 degrees outside. In my 30 second drive home I had this strong urge to drive a mile out of my way to go to Walgreens (a pharmacy store) and get the allergy prescription filled that my doctor had given me over four months ago. The crumpled paper had lain dormant in the bottom of my purse all this time, so why did I just have to go get it filled now while I had all these groceries in the car. So instead of fighting it, I just followed what my Intuition was telling me to do.

Can you guessed what happened?

I ran right into my college boyfriend! Talk about a shock. Last I knew I was on the North side of the city and he was on the West side, so I did not expect to see him in my neighborhood. I did not expect to see him at all!

So here's what happened: I did a search on him the day before and sent my energy out that said "searching for ex...searching for ex." Yet when I stopped searching on the computer, the energy kept going strong, like a wave I had set into motion. The energy went out and found him for me, even though I was not looking anymore. Then, the energy came back and said "found him! And here's where he's at!" Of course all I hear is that I need allergy medication, and I need it NOW!. I had asked a question to the universe, guides, god, whatever you want to call it, and it answered me back. It just took 24 hours to get my response.

So that's ex #1. Ex #2 came about 24 hours later. Now this guy was someone who I dated for awhile, but did not have a really deep connection with. We dated about two and a half years ago and I have not seen him since, although I did hear that he got engaged. Running into this guy was not nearly as exciting as the other one. I go Ice Skating once a week, and have been for months. I have this friend there that as we were putting on our skates I was telling her about running into ex #1. All the sudden I look up and ex #2 is standing across the room from me. He was filling in for a friend, picking up a kid from ice skating lessons.

When I got home that night I realized that my "searching for ex...searching for ex" signal must have kept going even after it found one. So I quickly turned that off and laughed about how fascinating energy connections are.

Now you could probably say that, "well Amy, you are a psychic, so maybe you just psychically saw that you were going to bump into him." And that is a good point. However, this stuff happens all the time in everyone's life. It just depends on if you are really paying attention and how much credit you give each experience. So maybe it is a psychic flash, but maybe it's not. And if it's not, then there is a whole world of energy connections to be explored!

So what are Energy Waves? Imagine a wave in the ocean. The wave builds out of tension in the water, or a burst of energy. The wave then moves forward in a certain direction, usually towards the beach. Once it reaches the beach it mingles with the sand, leaving and taking particles and then retreats until it dissolves completely.

Energy Waves are the same type movement. You come up with a thought and it builds tension to be sent out. The thought then travels through space and time looking for whatever it is you were thinking about. When it finds what it is looking for, it brings the information back to you. As not all waves are strong and make it to shore, neither are all our Energy Waves.

Energy Waves are not the same thing that I have described in my Energy of Relationships Diagram. Energy waves are like search engines for manifesting. Energy Waves also occur when we do not mean to manifest anything at all.

We are constantly sending waves out, one on top of the other. Not all waves reach their destination and not all waves find what they are looking for. And some waves just get plowed over by the other ones.

Another point I would like to make is that Energy Waves work best and happen when we are not overly emotionally connected to whatever it is we are sending out. So basically, do not try this technique on that person you have been dwelling on for six months, it will not work. When we think about something all the time, the wave is slow and sluggish, or perhaps it does not even get moving at all. It will also take a much longer time to return with results. Thoughts you think of that are random and you let pass without dwelling on tend to make Energy Waves quick and easy.

This article is mainly to show examples, not to explain how it all works, that will be coming soon. However I will say this: The KEY to these examples working is in the fact that after the energy was sent out to search, the sender LET IT GO! Here are some personal examples:

So what is the difference between Energy Waves and Telepathy? They are actually different forms of non-verbal communication. They work together most of the time, one leading the other. The major difference is that telepathy is more about thoughts while energy is more about the whole package. The telepathy usually comes first, as thoughts precede change.
